Single Layer Agitator Tank Introduction

The design and configuration of the agitator mixing tank can be standardized and humanized according to the requirements of the production process, which is usually composed of the tank agitator body, the mixer tank cover, the agitator, the support, the control panel, and the electric part.

Mixing tanks are usually available in three structures of tank body

Single-layer mixing tank

The wall of a single-layer stainless mixing tank has only one layer and is usually used only as a container for storage, mixing, blending, and reaction.

Double-layer mixing tank

The double-layer stainless steel mixing tank is also called a jacketed mixer, which comes with a jacket layer that can be used for heating, cooling, and insulation. Heating methods include steam heating and electric heating. The double-layer stirring tank transfers heat to the material through the medium in the jacket, which has a fast heat transfer speed and a safe and hygienic process. However, care needs to be taken to prevent burns when heating a double-layer mixing tank, and the heat of the tank is easily volatilized .

Three-layer mixing tank

The three-layer liquid mixer is a melting pot with an agitator. By adding a layer of insulation on the basis of the double-layer mixing tank, the outer layer is used for heat preservation, and the middle layer is used for heating or cooling. This structure makes the inner cylinder material heat evenly and has a good insulation effect. The three-layer mixing tank is usually made of rock wool or polyurethane as insulation material, and the outer layer is a stainless steel outsourcing layer, which is beautiful and practical.

Does the mixing tanks have cooling function?

The single layer mix tank has no cooling function. If you client need cooling function, will customize at least two layers with one jacket for cooling purpose.

What’s the material of the mixer with agitator ?

Yes, all the tank mixers are made of stainless steel, and the standard contact part is made of ss316L, other parts ss304, which meet GMP standards and is CE proved.

What capacity do you provide for the mixing tank with agitator?

The steel tank with agitator has different capacity from 50L to 5000L.

The power supply in my country is different, can you customize?

Yes, the power supply will be customized according to country. Clients should confirm with us before production.

Does the tank with mixer also has heater?

The model is non-heating type, the heating mixer tanks is another type with 3 layers, a heating jacket and an insulation jacket.
